Kitty Denton

In 2023, Kitty founded mode movement with the vision of bringing a collection of professionally lead classes to Northamptonshire. The studio would be a refreshing, creative space supporting both beginners hoping to start a new hobby and advanced levels looking to continue developing their skills. After graduating from Northern School of Contemporary Dance in 2020, Kitty understood the lack of adult classes in the area. mode is a slice of the ‘big city’ dance, fitness and wellness culture. Why can’t we have these classes right on our doorstops?

Kitty's choreography focuses on speed and dynamic qualities, often juxtaposing. Kitty works closely with the accompaniment and her strong accents originate from her childhood training in Tap and Drumming. Kitty is a technical dancer interested in coordination, expansiveness, smoothness, lines and performance. Her favourite styles to teach and move are Contemporary, Jazz Fusion and Heels. Kitty’s classes will challenge your mind and body in a supportive, welcoming space.
